Painting Culture, Memory and Connection. A respected Noongar artist and Elder, Beverley Pickett creates detailed works inspired by family, culture and life on Country. Deeply connected to her community and Noongar boodja, her paintings reflect a lifetime of cultural knowledge, storytelling and connection. Associated with the renowned Carrolup movement in the late 1980s, her works have been exhibited and collected in Australia and overseas. Beverley has always prioritised family, community and cultural education, sharing Aboriginal art and culture with schools to inspire future generations.
