Swag is a proud Noongar elder whose artworks capture the beauty, spirit and quiet strength of Country. Painting for more than fifty years, his works are deeply reflective and often evoke a sense of timelessness—celebrating landscapes as they existed long before modern development.
Known affectionately as "Swag", this respected Noongar artist was born in Bunbury, grew up in Kellerberrin. Art first became important to him many decades ago while serving time in Fremantle Prison, where painting and cultural connection helped transform his life. Since the
